Google has added a new “movie:” operator that allows you to find movie-related information. You can get reviews, recommendations, and showtimes.
It’s nice how you can get showtimes by searching for a movie name and filling in your location when it asks for it. Here’s a search for Hitch playing in Ewing, NJ. Or all showtimes in Ewing, NJ. One nice thing about showtimes is that the times that have yet to pass are shown as links that take you to MovieTickets.com so you can buy your ticket right away.
And searching for movie: microsoft returns reviews and review excerpts for Revolution OS and Under Siege, and eventually The Net and Antitrust. At least it doesn’t discriminate against documentaries, as Revolution OS is a great documentary on the rise of Linux and Open Source.
