A Look Inside Newegg
Anandtech has a great article on how Newegg ships your orders. They have mechanized a lot of the steps, and it’s remarkable how efficient they are and how cool the setup is. As a plus, there is a contest you can enter to win 1 of 5 AMD CPUs by Friday.

I’ve used Newegg a few times and I must say I was impressed with the experience. I bought my current 300GB external hard drive there, along with my wireless usb adapter.
The only problem I ran into was that FedEx kept trying to deliver the packages when I was at work, and I didn’t see the door message for a few days that let me sign a line for them to leave the package on their next visit.
So now whenever I get a package I put a note on the door for the delivery person to leave it there (be it UPS or FedEx).
