GoDaddy has been offering .com domains for $6.95, and the sale ends today or tomorrow (July 10). So get a .com before the sale is gone. (link)
GoDaddy is offering domains for $6.95 from now until July 10th. So now is the time to buy, and it helps me out a little too. This is the offer I always use when I get domains, and I wasn’t able to find one recently. I’m glad it’s back. (link)
So the other day I was planning on buying AppleWatch.net and the GoDaddy coupon I usually use to save me two dollars on a new domain wasn’t working. I started looking around for GoDaddy coupons and I came across DealTaker. Unfortunately it seemed every coupon I could find from anywhere online wouldn’t give me more than one dollar off a new domain, but I was impressed with the selection from DealTaker. And then I received an email about getting a free shirt for mentioning them. It’s odd how things work out randomly like that. I’ve also tinkered with other sites that spotlight specific deals when I was looking for some hard drives (Slickdeals, Dealigg, and FatWallet).
So the last deal I posted about was dead soon after I mentioned it. This time Frys has the L01F500 Maxtor 500GB SATA II Hard Drive for $110 with free shipping. Comparable to the other deal when you consider that this deal includes shipping and that one didn’t.
I picked up two for my Drobo (which is sitting next to me in a box as we speak). I can’t vouch for the drive so do some research. For me it was an impulse buy.
Frys is offering the Maxtor 7H500F0 500GB SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive for $100, plus shipping. Link.
I might get two for my Drobo, but the drives may run hot which concerns me. It also is apparently from an enterprise hard drive line that isn’t meant to run 24/7 (so says FatWallet). Still a great deal, and a 5 year warranty.

Buy.com has a coupon where Buy.com customers receive a free GoDaddy domain with any Buy.com purchase. The offer is not compatible with any Buy.com coupon, special offer, or Instant Rebate.
Some users over at the SlickDeals.net forum say that you can add the coupon to your shopping cart, and then checkout with no other items in your shopping cart and you still get the domain. It takes about a day before you receive information on how to get the domain, so I will update this post if it works.
