Buying a Google Video
Once I noticed that I could buy “Aardvark’d: 12 Weeks With Geeks” on Google Video I knew I had to. It’s the story of Fog Creek’s latest project and the summer interns who built it. Instead of $20 for a dvd I don’t really need, I can pay $6.99 for a watchable copy. Though the quality of the video leaves a lot to be desired.
So now I’m just waiting for it to cache enough of the video on my computer so I can watch it while it continues to download the rest. This could take a while. I will update you on the status.
Update: 6 hours later and the video finally finished downloading to my computer. This could have been because I originally tried to play the video before it was downloaded, and then upgraded the video player and played it again. But at least I got it in less than a day, and this documentary is pretty damn good.
