Music Review: Jem - Finally Woken
You have already heard Jem if you’ve seen a commercial for the move Closer and heard the “Come on Closer” song that played over the video montage. Jem was born in Wales, known as ‘the land of song’, and she could not deny her great passion for music. Her debut album Finally Woken is a wonderful composition of catchy, melodic tunes filled with a substance that you don’t see everyday. “They” is a song with some great beats and a powerful, yet soft message. No two songs are the same and they are all great. This album is definitely worth a listen.
