I just realized that in the “Get Info” option for a song in iTunes you can go to the “Options” tab and adjust the volume of a song. I’m not sure how long this has been here, but after buying The Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up
from Amazon MP3 I wanted to lower the volume since it sounded louder than most of my other songs. Problem solved. And I love Amazon MP3. Easy to use, high quality mp3s and a new special deal every day. Plus every Friday they have at least 5 $5.00 albums. Amazon Special Deals.

How freakin cute is this? From the Wall-e premiere. Looks to be a good movie; I haven’t seen it yet.

Everyone’s favorite Beverly Hills DJ is back on television. I was watching tonight’s The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Brian plays a solider sent back in time. He looks to be a recurring character, at least for the next episode. Monday nights at 9pm EST on Fox.

I just got back from the Saturday night sneak preview of the new movie No Reservations. It stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Aaron Eckhart, and the wonderfully talented Abigail Breslin. My feelings were mixed about the movie going in, but the story really starts well. You get to know the main character and where she is in her life, and then her world is turned upside down with the death of her sister. She must care for her niece Zoe, and finally deal with the state of her hectic life.
It was a very touching story that tugs at your heart, but then patches the hole with the warmth of promise. A promise in a brighter future. Plus all the work in the kitchen is fast-paced and actually interesting to watch. So go check it out. And Catherine Zeta-Jones is smokin’ hot as always.

Greek is a new show on ABC Family that starts next Monday. I am eagerly anticipating it, and while browsing the iTunes Store I found that the pilot episode is on iTunes for free. So go check it out. I’m currently downloading it so I don’t know how it is, but the previews have looked good. ABC Family comes up with some great programming, and now I have an extra hour of programming to watch after Kyle XY.
Get it here: Greek, Season 1 Pilot
My thoughts on the show based on the first episode (as posted in the comments):
I thought it showed the kind of college life I wish I had when I went to college. I especially enjoyed the fact that the brother and sister strengthened their relationship. And how the very geeky kid wants to let loose (he doesn’t think robot fighting makes a good party), and so far he is the only one with a set of values he upholds. Plus there are many, many cute girls in the show (guys for those of you into males). Many relatively unknowns, and a few actors who have done some work here and there. It looks to be a diverse cast, which lends itself to the already diverse subject matter. Definitely a fun watch, and a high quality show. Smarter than teen dramas. Already we have one cast member who may be hiding that he is gay.

Tonight at 10 marked the television premier of the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie. While this was April 1st they did play the first few minutes of the movie in fullscreen, after which the movie moved to a small 1 1/2 inch box in the bottom left corner of the screen. At the time of this posting the movie has still been playing in this tiny area without sound, while Futurama plays. You can check out some pictures I took of my tv below.
Adult Swim and Cartoon Network just earned my eternal respect. They have created the best marketing scheme. They continually fill the screen with large animated characters from the movie alongside messages about the movie coming to theaters April 13. They interrupt commercials with pictures of the movie poster and trailers. They are playing the movie like they said, but in a barely recognizable space with no sound. And they just rock, hard. They must be making a ton of money from advertisements, and raking in a ton of promotion for the movie. I know I’m seeing it.
Their website has lots of great content and this music video.

7-Eleven is working on a deal with Fox to convert 11 7-Elevens in the US into Kwik-E-Marts temporarily to promote the Simpsons movie. They will also have items inspired by the show like KrustyO’s and Squishees. I really hope they make one nearby so I can visit and take lots of pictures. Plus I wouldn’t mind a box of KrustyO’s. The deal is not done yet.

ABC is developing a series based on characters from the popular Geico cavemen commercials. The series will revolve around three pre-historic men as they attempt to live in modern Atlanta. No word yet on who will play the cavemen, and whether it will be the same actors from the commercials. Check out the Caveman’s Crib to get an idea of what a show based on the characters could be like. The Crib is an extention of the commercials and features cavemen in their modern habitat.
I would definitely watch a show based on cavemen living in modern America.

YouTube, owned by Google, has just taken down the 100,000+ videos that Viacom marked as infringing their copyrights. I will now work to find all important Colbert Report and Daily Show clips from other video services. This also makes me think of a better system for VidMirror that would be able to determine if a video is down or not. I will let you know if I make any progress on that.

Have any others that should be added to the list? Find a video somewhere other than YouTube? Comment or use the contact form. I love that the Cingular video is still on Google Video.

There is a new Ghost Rider trailer online and I must say it looks great. No more teasers, this one has plenty of action and storyline to satisfy your appetite until the movie is released on February 16th. You can find the trailer here on AOL, though only the X-Large Trailer will play in Firefox without the Active-X plugin (it uses Quicktime). Or you can download the trailer directly here.
This is one of the movies I can’t wait to see, along with Spider-Man 3 and Iron Man. Hmm, all comic book related. Coincidence? I think not.
