SiteMapper: Create Custom Maps for Your Site
Google released their Google Maps API a few days ago and I have been tinkering around with it the past few days. I have come up with SiteMapper, a page that allows you to enter in a starting address for a map, specify a few aspects of the map such as the width and height, and then get code to put the custom map on your website. You can also specify whether or not to put a directions form above the map that people can use to get directions to the point marked on the map.
The target audience of the site is any person or business who wants to have a map on their site that shows the location of a building or house. Visitors can then get directions right to the place from wherever they are. I plan to make some improvements and additions in the near future. Enjoy.
